The difficult stretch begins with the 9th. As the fairway is divided into two sections, the tee shot must be very accurate, preferably left half of the fairway. The second also must be straight, often with a wood into the prevailing wind. This hole is played as a par 5 for ladies with the tee shot and second shot requiring great care to avoid the surrounding vegetation.
