Charity Day | Wellways Geelong
Published on 16th September 2024 in members and guestsMonday 21 October. We invite you to join us for our Charity Day at The Barwon Heads Golf Club in support of WELLWAYS – Geelong. This incredible organisation provides vital respite options for people living with mental illness, as well as their carers and families.
Open to members, guests and visitors, we encourage as many people as possible to participate in this special event. Not only will you be supporting a great cause, but you’ll also have the opportunity to play at Barwon Heads for a fraction of the usual cost. With the full $60 entry fee being donated to WELLWAYS – Geelong, and our regular weekday green fee normally $195, this is an excellent chance to enjoy our course while contributing to a meaningful cause.
The course is currently the No.1. rated public access course on the mainland.
For those who missed out on our team events in July, this is a perfect alternative to experience the course and show your support.
Due to the clubhouse renovations, this year’s charity day will feature a single tee start, with tee times available between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Lunch is not included but will be available for purchase from the Golfer’s Marquee before or after your round.
To further boost our fundraising efforts, we will be holding a silent auction in the Golfer’s Marquee starting a week prior to the event and continuing on the day. We encourage you to bid generously.
