Pennant
Various dates
Two rounds of the men's 2024 pennant season have been played so far with Div.1 and Div.3 winning both and sitting on top of their respective ladders.
Women's Friday pennant began last week with teams in Div.1 Div.2 and Div.3. The Div.1 team and the Sunday pennant team started their seasons with wins.

School Holiday Junior Clinics
Several dates from Tuesday 2 April 2024
Don't forget that Jordan will be offering his popular 60-minute junior clinics in the April school holidays for those aged 8-16 years old. There will be plenty of ball hitting and lots of fun games.
Clinics are limited to six children per session and are only open to junior members and children or grandchildren of members. The cost of each session is $25 per junior. Call the golf shop to book.
Both events include a $45 lunch and $5 competition fee.
Sprague Cup

Sprague Memorial Cup was first played in 1946.
Please recall the new condition of playrequiring all players to have a minimum of four cards in their GOLF Link history within the previous 12 months to be eligible to participate. The four rounds do not need to have been played at Barwon Heads.
Last year's Downing Ambrose winners Tony Walker, Geoff Southby and Stephen Gough - the first three person winners of the trophy since its inception in 1981.

NB: Thursday 25 April 2024 - A $15 competition fee (includes $10 donation to RSL) will apply for the morning mixed gender Stableford shotgun and the afternoon Downing Ambrose event.
Those eligible (70+ years) are encouraged to enter the events on Monday 6 May: either the Barbara Parsons Trophy (happy 103rd birthday for today, Barbara!) or the Jeanne Heweston Trophy. Entries are now open. (The Women’s Golf Sub-Committee will select the players to represent the Club for the Bramerton and Marrum Cups.)
